The Red Army Bridge over the Chishui River

The steel truss girder suspension bridge, with a total length of 2,009 meters and a main span of 1,200 meters, is the world's tallest tower among mountain canyon Bridges (the top of the bridge tower is 503 meters above the bottom of the Chishui River valley) and the world's second-longest span steel truss girder suspension bridge. The bridge spans Sichuan and Guizhou provinces and was completed in 29 months. It was opened to traffic on September 30, 2019. The construction of the bridge has created a "new model, new concept and new speed" for bridge construction in China.
