Introduction to Kang Haibo Innovation Studio and its Main Advanced Deeds

The Kang Haibo Skilled Talent Innovation Studio of the Highway Tunnel Branch of Sichuan Road and Bridge Group was established in January 2017. Relying on the company's various extra-length tunnel projects, it has undertaken the construction and research and development work of the Transportation Industry Research and Development Center for Automated Operation Technology of the Ministry of Transport.

The innovation studio currently has 15 members, including 2 senior engineers, 4 engineers, 6 assistant engineers, 2 senior workers and 1 technician, all of whom have a bachelor's degree. At present, the studio is equipped with a dedicated space of 110 square meters, more than 20 sets of scientific research equipment, and an average annual investment of over 1.2 million yuan in scientific research special funds.

The Innovation Studio has conducted extensive research mainly in areas such as intelligent construction of digital tunnels, construction with complete sets of mechanized intelligent equipment, key technologies for the construction of large-section karst water-rich extra-long highway tunnels, smooth blasting of extra-long tunnels, complex geological conditions in mountainous areas, gas outburst, quality improvement, and technological innovation. In the construction and management of mountain expressway tunnels, some industry-leading achievements have been formed, which have achieved good results in improving quality, saving costs and reducing risks.

Since its establishment, the Innovation Studio has achieved the following main results: 1. Awarded the title of "Worker Pioneer Post" by the Sichuan Provincial Federation of Trade Unions; 2. Third Prize of Sichuan Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award, Second Prize of Scientific and Technological Innovation Achievement of China Construction Enterprise Management Association: Construction Technology of Large-Section Karst water-Rich Extra-long Highway Tunnels 3. Extra-long tunnel blasting construction technology: Won the second prize in the "Promoting High-Quality Development, Improving Quality and Efficiency, and Making Contributions" Golden Idea Rationalization Suggestion Collection Activity organized by the Sichuan Provincial Federation of Trade Unions. 4. Obtained 11 national patents, 1 national QC, 3 national construction methods, 7 provincial construction methods, and 2 provincial QC. 4. One monograph has been published and over 20 papers of various types have been published.
