Chen Yuejun Model Worker Innovation Studio




The Sichuan Road and Bridge Chuanjiao Road Surface Branch of Sichuan Road and Bridge Group takes project production as the center. Each ongoing project has established an innovation studio named after National Model worker Chen Yuejun, with Chen Yuejun "taking the lead" and project department operation technicians and employees "playing the leading role". By integrating the company's "Compare, learn, catch up, help, and surpass" labor competition and the "Five Minor" (minor inventions, minor creations, minor innovations, minor suggestions, and minor designs) "Golden Ideas" activities, a favorable innovation pattern of "support from the Party and government, implementation by the trade union, leading by model workers, and participation of employees" has been formed within the company.


In recent years, the main members of the innovation studio have given over 60 class hours of lectures, trained more than 300 people, and signed over 60 "apprenticeship contracts". To fully leverage the innovation function, the innovation studio closely follows the "1+N" management model proposed by Sichuan Communications Construction Company, transforming individual leadership into platform support. Based on the skill characteristics of each studio member, they rationally divide the work and form a "1+N" innovation pattern in their respective positions, that is, one member of the innovation studio drives N non-innovation studio members. Through various forms such as technical exchanges, special topic discussions, and mentorship, we promote the skill growth and training of all project members through the innovation studio platform, achieving success in their positions. At present, the innovation studio is located in the ZCB1-3 project of the Gujin Expressway. It has obtained six practical patent certificates, including "A Mobile Tunnel Dust Removal Device", "A Tunnel Feeding Auxiliary Structure", and "A Multi-functional Portable WristBand". In 2021, four scientific research projects were carried out, including the research on disaster prevention and control technology for Zhujiashan Karst Tunnel construction, the research on the reaction mechanism and preventive measures of concrete alkali-aggregate, etc. Currently, four utility model patents and two construction methods are being applied for. At the same time, QC Class III achievements were obtained to improve the control of the flatness of the concrete base in the tunnel. Three papers were published. Micro-innovations were made in the construction tools of standardized derrick + water grinding drill, "mechanical rotary drilling of anti-slide piles" and "manual hole-digging pile standardized derrick + water grinding drill", which were affirmed by the owner company and organized for promotion and application throughout the Gujin Expressway.
