Sichuan Road and Bridge Corporation held its first general training session on artificial intelligence

On March 28th, Sichuan Road & Bridge Corporation held its first general training session on artificial intelligence. Sun Licheng, the deputy general manager of Sichuan Road & Bridge Group, the Party secretary and chairman of Sichuan Road & Bridge Corporation, presided over the meeting and delivered a speech.

This training session aims to thoroughly implement the "Guiding Opinions on Accelerating the Application of Artificial Intelligence Technology in State-owned Enterprises" issued by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, accelerate the cultivation of new quality productivity, and empower the high-quality development of the company.

The conference specially invited Professor Sun Yanan from the Department of Artificial Intelligence of Sichuan University to give a special lecture. Professor Sun, under the title of "Frontier Advances in Artificial Intelligence", focused on "AI Empowering Industrial Upgrading", deeply analyzed the innovative applications of AI technology in fields such as safety management, intelligent transportation, green construction, and language intelligence, and vividly interpreted the integration logic of "AI+ infrastructure" by combining benchmark cases.

Sun Licheng emphasized that the traditional infrastructure industry is currently facing a severe survival challenge of "either advancing or falling behind". It is necessary to break the fixed mindset, strengthen innovation-driven development, and take "demand-driven, systematic promotion, and ecological co-construction" as the core concept to seize the strategic high ground of "a strong transportation province" and fully build an intelligent ecological system covering the entire industrial chain of "investment, construction, and operation". First, precisely focus on demands and consolidate the foundation for implementation. Establish a dual-wheel drive mechanism of "business requirements - technical solutions", and coordinate each business segment to sort out the list of core scenario requirements. Unite the professional forces of universities and research institutions to conduct dual evaluations of technical feasibility and economy, establish a project access review mechanism, and eliminate the formalistic tendency of "AI for AI's sake". Second, scientifically plan the path and consolidate the guarantee system. Formulate a special action plan for AI, set up a special fund pool, and establish a standardized process of "pilot - promotion - iteration". The company has formed an AI breakthrough team, built a domestic data security protection system, and created three demonstration scenarios including intelligent operation and maintenance of infrastructure. Cultivate professional talents, establish a good talent echelon, and strictly control the security bottom line and technical support work of the enterprise's core data. Third, deepen collaborative innovation to unleash the multiplier effect. All departments (centers) and directly affiliated enterprises should break down barriers, open up business scenarios, share high-quality resources, make unified plans, deeply integrate the technical foundation of the "sample - model - training and promotion" three centers, build an exclusive AI model library for roads and Bridges, and explore the innovative application of large models throughout the entire life cycle of engineering.
