Which projects of Sichuan Road and Bridge Construction have won awards again

Recently, various first-level academic societies (associations) have successively announced the list of relevant awards. The Poyang Lake Second Bridge of the Dujiu Expressway and the Hebei section of the Yanqing-Chongli Expressway, both constructed by Sichuan Road and Bridge Corporation, have won the highest honor for engineering quality in China's construction industry - the Luban Award for China's Construction Engineering. The Ya 'an to Kangding Expressway won the National Quality Project Gold Award. Two projects, namely the Hebei section of the Yanqing to Chongli Expressway and the Chishui River Red Army Bridge on the Jiangjin (Chongqing-Guizhou Border) Expressway via Xishui to Gulin (Guizhou-Sichuan Border), were awarded the National Quality Project Award. The scientific research project "Key Technologies for Construction of Super-Large Span Fully Welded Steel Truss Girder Bridges in Marine Environment" applied for based on the SAN Guantang Bridge won the first prize of the Science and Technology Progress Award of the China Highway Construction Industry Association.
Luban Prize
The Luban Award was established in 1987, under the supervision of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and organized by the China Construction Industry Association for selection. It is the highest honor for engineering quality in China's construction industry. This award is reviewed once a year and presented every two years. The selection targets are newly-built projects that have been completed and put into use, and whose engineering quality has reached the first-class level in China.
Poyang Lake Second Bridge on Dujiu Expressway
The Second Bridge of Poyang Lake on the Dujiu Expressway starts from Duobao Township in Duchang County, spans the waters of Laoyemiao, known as the "Oriental Bermuda Triangle", and ends in Lushan City. It is a key project of the Dujiu Expressway, undertaking the dual functions of tourism development and urban transportation. The Second Bridge over Poyang Lake is the longest cable-stayed bridge across inland lakes in China and the second largest span bridge in Jiangxi Province. The total length of the bridge is 5,589 meters. The width of the main bridge deck is 28 meters, and the width of the auxiliary span and approach bridge decks is 24.5 meters. The main hole is a steel-concrete composite beam double-tower five-span spatial double-plane cable-stayed bridge, with a maximum span of 420 meters. The main tower adopts a bottle-shaped bridge tower, with a tower height of 137.9 meters. The cable-stayed cables are arranged in a spatial double-cable fan shape.

The Hebei section of the Yanqing-Chongli Expressway
The Jinjiazhuang Extra-long Spiral Tunnel is the most important control project of the Hebei section of the Yan-Chong Expressway. It is the world's longest spiral tunnel on a highway, a separated extra-long tunnel with a total length of 4.2 kilometers, four lanes in both directions. The left line is 4,228 meters long, the right line is 4,104 meters long, the curve radius is 860 meters, the maximum burial depth is 314.5 meters, and the minimum radius of the horizontal curve is 860 meters. The maximum longitudinal slope of the straight line is 3.8%. Overcoming a height difference of over 80 meters, the tunnel spirals 270 degrees, reducing the longitudinal slope to 1.91%. This perfectly solves the problems of line climbing and avoiding sections with poor geological conditions.

National Quality Project Award
The National Quality Project Award was established in 1981 and is organized and selected by the China Construction Enterprise Management Association. It is the earliest and highest-level national honor in the field of engineering construction, spanning multiple industries and specialties, and represents the highest honor in terms of engineering construction quality in China.
Ya 'an-Kangding Expressway
The Ya 'an-Kangding Expressway starts from Yucheng District of Ya 'an City and ends at the east of Kangding City, with a total length of approximately 135 kilometers. It has four lanes in both directions, a designed speed of 80 kilometers per hour, and a bridge-tunnel ratio of 82%. The Ya 'an-Kangding Expressway was completed nine months ahead of schedule, ending the history of Kangding City, the capital of Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, having no expressway. It marked the leap of Sichuan's expressways from the plain to the plateau and is an important passage connecting the Chengdu Plain with the Ganzi Tibetan area and leading to Tibet. It is also an important part of the national expressway network from Ya 'an, Sichuan Province to Yecheng, Xinjiang. It is the first national quality project to win the Gold Award led by Sichuan Province.

The Hebei section of the Yanqing-Chongli Expressway
The Yanqing-Chongli Expressway Hebei Section Project is located in the eastern part of Zhangjiakou City. It starts from Songshan Tunnel at the Beijing-Hebei border and ends at Zhangcheng Expressway. It is constructed to the standard of a two-way four-lane expressway, with a total length of 113.684 kilometers. This project is a dedicated highway passage connecting the Yanqing and Zhangjiakou competition areas for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics and Paralympics. It is also a dual demonstration project of green and smart development by the Ministry of Transport.

The Red Army Bridge over the Chishui River on the expressway from Jiangjin (Chongqing-Guizhou border) via Xishui to Gulin (Guizhou-Sichuan border)
The Red Army Bridge over the Chishui River is the world's largest canyon suspension bridge of its kind in mountainous areas with the highest tower and the second largest span. The bridge is 2,009 meters long, with the main bridge being a 1,200-meter double-tower single-span steel truss girder suspension bridge. The vertical height from the bridge deck to the river surface is 350 meters. As the first bridge in China named after the Red Army, the Red Army Bridge over the Chishui River is located at two ends respectively in Taiping Town, Gulin County, Luzhou City, Sichuan Province and Xijiu Town, Xishui County, Zunyi City, Guizhou Province, which are the routes of the Central Red Army's "Four Crossings of the Chishui River". Spanning the Chishui River, it resembles a rainbow soaring in the clouds, connecting the pulse of people's livelihood and economic development on both banks of Sichuan and Guizhou.

Science and Technology Progress Award
The "Science and Technology Award of China Highway Construction Association" was established in 2012 and is organized and selected by the China Highway Construction Association. It aims to recognize scientific and technological research and development achievements that have been developed in the relevant engineering practices of transportation construction and maintenance and related industries and have been tested by more than one year of engineering practice, which are advanced, scientific and applicable.
SAN Guantang Bridge
The SAN Guantang Bridge is approximately 3.3 kilometers long, with a main span of 785 meters. It adopts a continuous steel truss girder system with a main span of 465 meters, which is the "world's first" of its kind. The entire bridge uses 34,000 tons of steel, and the types of members are diverse, setting a record for the "largest number" of welded joint forms in the same type of bridge. During the construction of the main bridge of the bridge, seven major challenges were successively overcome, including the design and application of a 600-ton ultra-high long-span special gantry crane on soft soil foundation in typhoon areas, the design and application of a 660-ton adaptive curved walking gantry crane on the truss, the assembly construction of a 220-meter super-large cantilever on one side in the typhoon-affected area, and the linear and internal force control technology of the cantilever assembly of super-large span steel truss girders. And it has successfully obtained 3 provincial-level construction methods, 13 utility model patents, 2 invention patents, and multiple innovative achievements such as a national-level outstanding management group.
The completion and opening of the SAN Guantang Bridge marks another landmark building that the company has constructed in East China following the Xihoumen Bridge, the Bund Bridge, the Chunxiao Bridge and the Zhilan Bridge in Zhoushan, Zhejiang Province. It has made significant contributions to further enhancing the technological strength in bridge construction, expanding the market along the East China coast and creating a corporate brand.
