"Shuchang No.1" TBM

The "Shuchang No.1" TBM, jointly developed by Shudao Group and CRRC Heavy Industry, is the first open-type tunnel boring machine in Southwest China that can adapt to all working conditions. It is 195 meters long, has a digging diameter of 8.53 meters, and weighs approximately 1,700 tons. It is specially designed for tunnel construction under complex mountain geological conditions. This equipment integrates multiple functions such as tunneling, slag removal, guidance, support, ventilation and dust prevention. It features fast construction speed, high degree of mechanization and informatization, and reliable construction safety. At present, "Shuchang No.1" has been successfully applied in the construction of the Yanyuan Tunnel on the Xixiang Expressway, significantly enhancing the construction efficiency and safety, marking a new stage in China's tunnel construction technology.
