The East extension of Chengdu Airport Road crosses the Jinjiang Bridge

The Chengdu Airport Road East Extension Bridge across the Jinjiang River is one of the important urban transportation projects in Chengdu. It is located on the east side of Chengdu Tianfu International Airport and connects Tianfu Avenue and Chengdu-Guiyang Expressway. The bridge is approximately 1,664 meters in total length. Its main span adopts a cable-stayed bridge design, with a bridge deck width of 35 meters. It has six lanes in both directions and a designed speed of 80 kilometers per hour, meeting the traffic demands during peak hours. The construction of the bridge has effectively alleviated the traffic pressure in the surrounding areas and promoted the rapid development of Tianfu New Area. In addition, the project also includes complete supporting facilities such as drainage, lighting and greening, which have enhanced the overall transportation function and urban image of the area
