The effect drawing of the Jinjiazhuang Extra-long spiral Tunnel

The Jinjiazhuang Extra-long Spiral Tunnel is a key control project on the Yan-Chong Expressway (S3801 Jingli Expressway, Yanqing to Chongli section), located in the northwest of Jinjiazhuang Village, Chicheng County, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, with a total length of approximately 4.2 kilometers. This tunnel adopts a unique spiral design with a radius of 860 meters, aiming to overcome a longitudinal height difference of approximately 250 meters to ensure the safe driving of vehicles. The tunnel started construction in August 2017 and was contracted by Sichuan Road and Bridge Construction Group. The right line was connected on August 13, 2019, and the entire line was opened to traffic on December 31, 2019.
