Huaying Mountain Tunnel of Nanning-Chongqing Expressway

The Huaying Mountain Tunnel is an important expressway tunnel in southwest China, passing through the Huaying Mountain Range between Huaying City and Linshui County in Sichuan Province. The tunnel is approximately 4.7 kilometers long and was completed and opened to traffic in 2000, becoming part of the G42 Shanghai-Chengdu Expressway (Nanning-Guangzhou-Linlin Expressway). The completion of the tunnel has greatly improved the regional transportation conditions and promoted economic ties and personnel exchanges between Sichuan and Chongqing.
