Shiziping Tunnel of Wenma Expressway

The Shiziping Tunnel is the longest tunnel along the Wenzhou-Maerkang Expressway (from Wenchuan to Maerkang), with a total length of approximately 13.15 kilometers. It is located in Lixian County, Aba Prefecture, Sichuan Province, and passes through a complex geological plateau and cold area. The maximum burial depth reaches 1,280 meters, making the construction extremely difficult. The tunnel is decorated with colorful paintings such as Miyaolo Red leaves, which can relieve driving fatigue and enhance the travel experience. The tunnel was completed in November 2020 and is one of the key control projects of the Wenzhou-Ma 'anshan Expressway.
