The 200MW centralized photovoltaic project in Huidong has started construction

The Huidong 200MW centralized photovoltaic power Station is located in Huidong County, Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. It is an important component project of the integrated demonstration base of wind, solar, hydropower and energy storage in the lower reaches of the Jinsha River, covering a total area of approximately 4,000 mu and with an installed capacity of 200,000 kilowatts. The project adopts high-efficiency monocrystalline silicon modules and intelligent inverter technology, combined with the local superior light resources, to achieve an average annual power generation of approximately 320 million kilowatt-hours, which can meet the electricity demands of about 160,000 households and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 280,000 tons annually. As a key renewable energy project during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, this power station intensively uses land through the "photovoltaic + agriculture" model and is equipped with energy storage facilities to enhance the grid's absorption capacity. It effectively drives the development of the local clean energy industry and rural revitalization, and contributes to achieving the "dual carbon" goals.
