Shuangjiangkou Hydropower Station

The Shuangjiangkou Hydropower Station is located in the Dadu River Basin of Sichuan Province and is the world's highest earth-rock dam hydropower station. The total installed capacity of this project is 2 million kilowatts, with a dam height of 315 meters. It adopts a gravel earth core wall rockfill dam structure, and the filling volume exceeds 46 million cubic meters. On May 1, 2025, the power station completed its first water storage, raising the water level to 2,344.3 meters above sea level and storing 110 million cubic meters of water, laying the foundation for its commissioning and power generation.
