The Baiwu Pumped Storage Power Station in Yanyuan, Sichuan Province, is an important component of the comprehensive utilization (three-in-one) project of the Yanyuan Water Diversion Project in Yanyuan, Liangshan Prefecture. It is located in Yanyuan County, Liangshan Prefecture, with a planned total investment of approximately 13.357 billion yuan. The technical review of the pre-feasibility study report of this project was completed in May 2024, marking that the project construction has entered a substantive stage. The construction of the project not only helps consolidate and expand the achievements of poverty alleviation, but also promotes rural revitalization, ensures national food security and energy security, and is of great significance for promoting high-quality regional economic development.
